Art-Z Mom Creations/Terms-Conditions-Limitations

Who will paint at your party?

At Art-Z Mom Face Painting we guarantee you will love the quality of service we provide.  We are three very talented artists with our own unique style. We love what we do and enjoy working with kids. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us anytime before or after your event. 951-237-7615.

Payment/Deposit: Your booking is not final until the deposit clears. Deposit due within a week of the date you receive this invoice. Client agrees to pay for the event balance or in full by the painting end time stated above, unless prior arrangements have been agreed upon. Deposit/Retainer may be made via Pay Pal, directly on my website. Checks will be accepted only for deposits. Deposit is non-refundable, but can be used as credit toward a future date if it is within one year of the original booking date.  It is our policy and we prefer that you make sure your artist counts back the payment to you to ensure you have not overpaid.

Guest Planning: We paint approximately 10-15 faces per hour. The client may limit the art selection to allow more guests to be painted per hour, but understands that quality art takes time. The client must request art limitations prior to the event. Regardless of the art selected, painting time is affected by the age and cooperation of the person(s) being painted. Please plan your hourly needs accordingly so that we do not leave anyone disappointed.

Limitation on Artwork: We will not paint or apply glitter tattoos on any part of the body that is not legal to expose, or any body part the artists doesn’t  feel comfortable painting. We will not paint any design or wording that is obscene, offensive or defies good taste.

Overtime: The Client may request time beyond the time booked if the guest numbers are unexpectedly larger than planned. The Client must make this request to (your artist) directly, and she/he will stay if schedule allows. Extra time will be billed at $30 per half hour.

Breaks: We will require one 15 minute paid break after 4 hours of painting or glitter tattooing.

Cancellation: If the Client cancels the event, the retainer is not refunded. Retainer fee may be credited toward a new event if it’s within a year of cancellation, and if the client cancelled at least 48 hours of the event start time. Should your artist become sick or have an emergency, the retainer will be refunded or if you wish we will make every effort to find a replacement artist for your event.

Checks: NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED as of Jan 1, 2012-unless it is accepted as a deposit only..

Travel charges:  Client understands that there may be an additional charge for mileage.

Parking: Parking must be provided near the event location or building entrance so that equipment may be unloaded.  The Client is responsible for any parking fees or tolls. (This applies mostly to Corporate events)

Extreme or Adverse Working Conditions: Your artist may cease painting if there are extreme or adverse working conditions and the Client fails to remedy the situation after it has been brought to the Client’s attention. Adverse conditions included but are not limited to: destructive, violent, or extreme inappropriate behavior of a child, adult or pet, illegal activities or dangerous conditions. The Client agrees to pay the full fee should adverse working conditions occur, regardless of number of hours worked.

Working Area: If the event is outdoors, please provide a covered, comfortable area where we won’t be in the way of your guests. It is difficult to paint without sun and rain protection to protect my products and equipment. No set up near DJ please.

Tent/Tables/Chairs: We have a 10’x10’  EZ-UP tent that the client may reserve for the set up at out door events/or park events at a $10 extra fee as long as client agrees to have someone help with set-up. We will provide all necessary tables and chairs free of charge.

Liability Statement: We are not liable for allergic reactions to paint/ink/adhesive (there is no latex in the adhesive products).  Children/adults with skin allergies or sensitive skin should either not participate, or have us perform a patch test at the beginning of the party. Allergy to face paint is no more common than allergy to any other cosmetic product. For sanitary reasons, we will not apply paint on anyone who is/or appears to be sick or suffering from: cold sores, conjunctivitis; any infectious skin condition, eczema, or open wounds. We will use reasonable care, but we are not responsible for damage to clothing or property. All of the paint and supplies that we use are FDA compliant, cosmetic grade, high quality professional products that are made for the face and body.

Damage: Client agrees to pay for any injuries caused by guests or pets, and/or any damage to our equipment and/or supplies caused by pets or guests.

Please help supervise children. Their behavior and safety is the Clients’ and /or Parents’ responsibility. We cannot see other children and what they are doing while we are painting another child. Please supervise all children of all ages.
