What can I say, it was great working at home for almost ten years doing what I love to do best, work as an Artist, and running around the house chasing my kids! It wasn't easy, but definitely worth it!
Now you might be wondering how I got myself in this wonderful mess... Well since I was a little girl I was fascinated with the wonderful world of art! My first exposure to arts and crafts was through my mother's hands. Growing up by my mother's side was wonderful as she was and still is creating and selling new crafty projects. Little did she know she influenced me to appreciate and become passionate for the wonderful world of art!
I attended College and graduated with a B.A. in Art education with an emphasis in studio art. Since 1991 during]
my college years and currently I have worked within the Rialto Unified School District, San Bernardino and currently working part-time as the Art Instructor for K-8 at a San Bernardino Charter School. I've worked with kids from preschool up to high school level in the classroom as well as on the field at leadership conferences.
Thanks to the support and encouragement from my wonderful husband, I made the decision to be a work-at-home mom since I yearned to be home with our 3 children!. Like my mother I realized I needed to use the two most wonderful gifts that God has given me: being a Mom and an Artist. I created the Art-Z Mom logo and website in 2005 and I'm now designing everything from one-of-a kind Fine art to unique cards, murals, graphic design, painted wearables and more recently fulfilling my ultimate dream of illustrating childrens books as well as my new passion Face and Body painting , which gives me the opportunity to continue practicing my skill while still working with kids.
I consider no project too small and I take pride in my work. I offer very affordable pricing so that anyone can enjoy making their project ideas a reality! I believe art should be for everyone to enjoy!
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support, for taking time to read my bio & most of all for visiting my site. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating & sharing it!
