Who will paint at your Event/ Artist Availability?

At Art-Z Mom Face Painting, I personally prioritize attending your event as the primary artist. However, in the instance that I am unavailable due to illness or a prior booking, I will arrange for a trusted and highly skilled artist from my team to attend in my place. I carefully select artists whose work meets the same high standards you expect. Rest assured, your event will still be in excellent hands, and the quality of service will remain exceptional.  In addition, I may occasionally move artists around or change events if my artists are ill or not able to handle large events.

Face Painting Capacity and Art Options

For private parties, we paint 25-30 guests during the two hour booking. We can also offer a quick chart for more guests which means no full or half faces will be painted.

For larger corporate or public events, we can accommodate more guests by offering quicker, simplified designs.

Clients may choose to limit the art selection to allow us to paint more guests within the booked time. Client can also request themed designs.

We encourage clients to plan their hourly needs carefully to ensure that all guests who wish to be painted have time to do so. Adding extra time may be necessary for larger guest counts to avoid any disappointment. If you’re unsure how much time to book, we’re happy to provide guidance based on your event size and preferences.

Corporate Event Considerations

To provide the best experience for your guests, we kindly request that our setup is not located directly next to the DJ or other loud music sources. This ensures that children and parents can comfortably hear us during the face painting process.

For events lasting longer than four hours, we will take a short 15-minute break to recharge and maintain the quality of our work. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us create a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Design and Placement Policy

For the safety and comfort of all parties, we will not paint or apply glitter tattoos on any part of the body that is not legal to expose or that the artist deems inappropriate or uncomfortable.

Additionally, we reserve the right to refuse any design requests that include obscene words, offensive imagery, inappropriate themes, or symbols that do not align with good taste. Our goal is to provide fun, creative, and family-friendly designs that everyone can enjoy.

Overtime Requests

•If unexpected guests arrive or your event exceeds the planned number of attendees, clients may request additional time directly from the artist during the event. If the artist is available to stay, overtime will be billed at $100 per hour, payable at the end of the event.

•Please note that overtime is subject to the artist’s availability and cannot be guaranteed. We recommend planning your time accordingly to ensure all guests are accommodated within the scheduled hours.

Cancellation Policy

Client Cancellations: If the client cancels their booking, the retainer fee is non-refundable. However, it can be credited toward a future event scheduled within one year of the original booking. To qualify for this credit, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the event’s start time.

Artist Cancellations: In the rare instance that the artist becomes ill and is unable to attend or arrange for a replacement, the retainer fee will be fully refunded. Please note, we make every effort to secure a trusted replacement artist to ensure your event is not disrupted. Just a side note-we at Art-Z Mom have never cancelled attending any event. We have always had a replacement to keep our clients happy. The only time this will be a challenge is during the month of October.

Travel Charges and Parking

Travel Fees: Events located more than 30 minutes from [Your Location] may incur an additional travel fee. This fee will be discussed and agreed upon at the time of booking.

Parking: (Corporate events only) Please provide clear details regarding parking arrangements, venue access, and arrival instructions to ensure a smooth setup process. Also, if possible, please provide any maps with layout of event and where you wish for artists to set-up.

Liability and Allergy Disclaimer

At Art-Z Mom Face Painting, we carry liability insurance with Body Works Insurance Company to ensure peace of mind for our clients.

Allergies and Sensitivities:

While the face paints, inks, and adhesives we use are all cosmetic-grade, professional, FDA-compliant, and free of latex, allergic reactions may occur in rare cases, just as with any cosmetic product. If a child or adult has known skin sensitivities or allergies, we recommend they do not participate in face painting or opt for a small design on their arm instead.

Health and Safety:

For sanitary reasons, we cannot apply paint to anyone who appears ill or is suffering from cold sores, conjunctivitis, infectious skin conditions, eczema, or open wounds. This policy helps us maintain a clean and safe environment for all participants. Our kit and tools are sanitized regularly, and we take great care to uphold hygienic practices.

Damage Disclaimer: We are not responsible for damage to clothing or property. We recommend that participants wear clothing that can tolerate the possibility of incidental contact with paint.  Thank you for understanding these precautions as they help ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of everyone at your event.

Damage and Liability

Clients agree to take responsibility for any injuries caused by their guests or pets, as well as any damage to our equipment or supplies caused by pets or guests during the event. In the event of significant damage or injury, a claim may be filed with our liability insurance if necessary.

We kindly ask for your cooperation in ensuring a safe and respectful environment to help us provide the best possible service.

Extreme or Adverse Working Conditions:

Your artist may cease painting if there are extreme or adverse working conditions, and the client fails to remedy the situation after it has been brought to the client’s attention. Adverse conditions include but are not limited to destructive, violent, or extreme inappropriate behavior of a child, adult or pet, illegal activities, or dangerous conditions. The Client agrees to pay the full fee should adverse working conditions occur, regardless of the number of hours worked.

Line Management for Corporate Events.

For larger or high-capacity corporate events, we kindly request the assistance of a helper to supervise the line. While we are painting, we are unable to monitor the line or the behavior of those waiting. A helper can ensure the line runs smoothly and everyone has a great experience.

Additionally, we typically close the line 30 minutes before the end of the event to ensure all remaining guests are accommodated. To avoid confusion, we stamp the hands of everyone still in line at that time, guaranteeing they will receive their turn.If possible, we appreciate having an assistant help manage this process.

Thank you for your understanding and support in making your event run seamlessly!
